💚Day 10💚
Lovely walk to Knighton Park with Bella & Ned.
On the fields we made friends with a very friendly magpie who began to follow us home in hope of being fed some more biscuits, luckily he decided he didn’t want to stray too far from the park and returned home 🥹

💚Day 9💚
Lovely morning walk with Bella & Ned around Knighton Park, Bella paddled in the brook 🐾 and we sat and watched a family of woodpecker’s high up in the trees.
In the afternoon I walked Buddy into Wigston to fetch bird food supplies from B&M, Buddy picked out a new squeaky cupcake toy which he spent the afternoon playing with once home 🥹
These last few days I have really felt the effects that working from home has had on my body, my previous jobs were always physical and 10,000 steps would have been nothing for me to complete yet now I’m lucky if I get to 2000 steps per day! I’ve been suffering with what I can only describe as jelly legs 😂 and have felt a little disheartened that my fitness is not what it once was… But I will continue to push through, building my fitness and remembering that every penny raised will be used to help people suffering everyday from cancer 💚

💚Day 4💚
Although today was a rainy day I spent a lovely afternoon exploring the Liverpool Albert Docks & Merseyside Maritime Museum.
The Maritime Museum has a whole floor which is dedicated to the Titanic containing lots of fascinating artefacts and information regarding the ship’s connection with Liverpool 🚢

💚Day 3💚
Lovely walk after work today with my sister in law through the local countryside and along the canal.
We came across a family of swans but Mr & Mrs did not want us to pass so to avoid getting attacked we decided to take a detour through a field which unknown to us was being mowed by the farmer in a huge tractor like machine which spat all the grass cuttings from a huge funnel, however I don’t think he appreciated us taking a shortcut through his field as when he passed us he turned the funnel to shower us is freshly cut grass clippings! Perfect for my hayfever 😂
